JERA is a long time objective of Educational Research for West and Central Africa (ERNWACA), one that will help promote quality and relevant research that should be helping teachers develop and exercise their critical thinking skills.
JERA is a bi-annual journal of the Educational Research Network for West and Central Africa. Vol. 1, No. 3, will be published in June 2010. Last date for submission of papers is 30th; November 2010. An abstract of 150 to 200 words in both French and English is required. Articles that address educational issues will be required. The articles should include the following sections:

• Discussions.
Manuscripts submitted to the journal should be typed, approximately 7000 words, with one and a half point spacing. Send your papers to jerare@rocare.org. in MS word or RTF attachments. Camara-ready copies of maps, charts, and graphs are required, as well as data used in plotting the charts and graphs.
