Introduction of New staff to Panaf

Dear Participants of PANAF,

I am pleased to introduce to you three new persons at ERNWCA ROCRE Regional Coordination, recruited in the context of the IDRC-funded panAfrican Research Agenda for the pedagogical integration of ICT (June 2007-May 2009), in which ERNWACA will partner with universities in 11 countries on the continent (Cameroon, Congo, Egypt, Kenya, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Uganda, Central African Republic, Senegal, South Africa) and with University of Montreal.

Mbagwana Moses Atezah, Research Program Manager, mmbangwana@rocare.org
A member of ERNWACA-Cameroon, Moses has a PhD in Educational Technology from USA and was recently promoted to Associate Professor. In addition to coordinating the new research project, he will be responsible for the Call for Papers in 2007 for the launch in 2008 of the Journal on Education Research in Africa (JERA), in collaboration with the regional scientific committee.

Moises Appolos Thera, Finance Officer, mthera@rocare.org
Moises joins us from World Vision in Mali and has a Master’s in Economics from the Ukraine. He is available for financial audits of national networks, in the spirit of improving network management. Thanks to him, we hope to get to all members the Guide to Network Administration this year.

Dramane Darave, Research Assistant Webmaster, ddarave@rocare.org
Dramane, 27 years old, is an ICT engineer with an MA from UCAD. He has worked with PanaPress and the French Cooperation in Senegal. He continues to make available on the Web content from his home country, available from www.fasopresse.net.

Hope you will have the opportunity to meet the new members of the team and vice versa.
